About the Role

The IT Operations Lead is responsible for owning and improving IT infrastructure and service delivery across the organisation. This role manages the Managed Service Provider (MSP), drives improvements in IT support processes, and ensures the environment is secure, resilient, and scalable. You will work closely with business stakeholders and vendors to align IT operations with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage the MSP, including performance, SLAs, and escalations

· Improve IT support models, workflows, and service delivery processes

· Oversee IT infrastructure across cloud, network, and workplace technology

· Manage end-user hardware lifecycle (laptops, peripherals, meeting rooms)

· Embed security best practices across infrastructure and operations

· Monitor and report on IT service performance and user experience

· Act as escalation point for complex IT and vendor issues

· Drive continuous improvement across IT operations and tooling

Skills & Experience

· 5+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or support roles

· 3+ years managing MSPs and vendors

· Strong experience across cloud, infrastructure, networking, and workplace tech

· Experience with ITSM tools (ideally Jira Service Management), automation, and monitoring

· Good understanding of IT security, patching, access management, and compliance

· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

· Experience in regulated environments and relevant certifications highly regarded
